PERMANENT WORK OR BUSINESS VISA OPTIONS:

These visas can result in permanent resident status, and allow you to reside in the United States permanently.

EB-5 DIRECT:

These categories of permanent visas are available for persons investing $500,000 to $1,000,000 in the United States. The investor must generally lead and direct the operation, and the amount of required capital will depend upon where the money is invested.

EB- REGIONAL CENTER:

The investor may be a limited partner in a wider investment pool. This is most appropriate for passive investors. The amount of required capital depends on where the money is invested.

EB-1C:

This category of visas is for multinational intracompany transferees. Foreign investors who own a foreign business may utilize this visa option to seek permanent residence in the United States.

EB-2:

This category of visas is for people with advanced education or outstanding abilities. Some investors with the requisite credentials may qualify for this visa option if they have partners in the United States.

EB-3:

This category of visas is for professionals, people with specialized skills or training, and general workers. Some investors with the requisite credentials may qualify for this visa option if they have partners in the United States.

 

TEMPORARY WORK VISA OPTIONS:

These visas are generally from 1 to 5 years, and they allow you to temporarily work and reside in the United States.

E-1/E-2 VISAS

for Immigrant Investors or their essential personnel.

O-1 VISAS

for persons of extraordinary abilities. Some investors in the field of entrepreneurship or management may qualify for this type of temporary visa.

L-1 VISAS

for multinational executives, managers, or specialized employees. Foreign investors who own a foreign business may utilize this visa option to seek permanent residence in the United States.

H-1B VISAS

for professionals in “specialty occupations.” Foreign investors who own a foreign business may utilize this visa option to seek permanent residence in the United States.

P-1 VISAS

for athletes, performers, or entertainers. Some investors in the general entertainment industry could qualify for this type of visa.
